Visiprise Announces Adoption of UGS' Open Manufacturing Backbone (OMB) To Deliver Complete Manufacturing Visibility

New Digital Manufacturing Backbone Provides Robust Platform To Better Manage The Manufacturing Process

ATLANTA, GA - December 17, 2004 — Visiprise, Inc., a recognized leader in helping manufacturers manage and control global operations to improve product quality and compliance, today announced its formal adoption of Open Manufacturing Backbone (OMB), a globally scalable technology backbone launched today by product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services leader UGS. Visiprise's flagship solution, Visiprise Manufacturing, is a comprehensive manufacturing operations platform that gives discrete manufacturers control over global manufacturing operations. UGS and Visiprise are currently working together on developing a fully-integrated, global digital manufacturing platform for a major aerospace industry company for manufacturing, assembly and testing of its products.
